The Yamakachi is a giant, legendary snake that lives in Mount Tsurugi, Japan. Although it's rare, it's feared and the villagers often bring weapons to protect themselves.
Hikers and campers have seen the Yamakachi. On May 26, 1973, a worker saw a giant black snake with a white stomach. He claimed the snake was more than ten meters long. After this report, many people reported a snake similar to the worker's description.
