Cryptid Wiki used to be a great place to visit, viewing all the comments, discussions and sightings of various creatures, no matter how absurd or tenuously related they were made for a good few hours of reading on a rainy Saturday.
I feel that these days, there are far too many people trying to turn it into a dry, encyclopaedia-type wiki which concentrates more on the references to published works and confirmation of sightings, along with deleting pages that they feel don’t fit with their idea of Cryptozoology, than focussing on what made this site so popular in the first place: showing off lesser-known beasties, real or imaginary, but entertaining to read about.
One last thing: I know that somebody's put a great deal of effort into it, but the “List of Cryptids” template that now appears at the bottom of every cryptid page is an absolute turnoff. It just looks like a wall of text; nobody will read through the contents when there is a search bar and categorised entries.
