As far as I know, the rake is from creepypasta. That picture is from a film advertisement, I think.
Yea, the picture is a hoax, but on a couple fringe websites claim the creature is not a creepypasta. And yes, fringe websites, even by our standards. I'll dig a bit deeper and see if it originated in the creepypasta.
This is kind of a "which came first, the chicken or the egg?" situation, since many creepypastas are based on myths and legends that could be called cryptids. And then there's the idea that enough people channeling belief in something can manifest it...
Just look at Slenderman, he's a well known creepypasta monster, but in the years since the first story, there have been plenty of claims of people seeing him or something similar.
That picture is a screenshot of a lesser known horror game. I forgot which horror game it was, but the point is that it's faker than the dinosaurs in Jurassic park.
The Rake is most certainly a figment of a creepypasta, but there are reports of creatures sort-of matching its description. I think that the Wiki may already have a page for such entities, under the name of 'Ghoul '. However, I would suggest that these entities be renamed 'Pale Crawlers '.
The Nightcrawler article seems to cover most of the information about them, and the lack of arms makes them a bit different from the Rake. And I only use the term Rake because there isn't really a better term, although Rake-like cryptids would be more accurate, as the name comes from the fictional Creepypasta.
