Artistic rendition of the cryptid. The animal is unlike any other animal specie known to man.

The Squidgicum-Squee is a fearsome critter from the tales of lumberjacks of North America in the late 19th century and early 20th century. This creature is very shy, not wanting to ever be seen. When it hears or sees someone or something approaching, it takes a deep breath and swallows itself whole

A similar cryptid known as the Wunk exhibits a similar habit of hiding itself by removing its presence completely. However, it is not known if these two animals are related.
