The Nepalese Dragon is a reptilian cryptid reported from Nepal. It is also known as the Crocodile Snake, Limbless Himalayan Crocodile Dragon, and Nepal Crocodile Dragon.
Description[]
In 1980, a group led by Indian missionary Resham Poudal was traveling through the Himalayan jungle located in Nepal when they spotted a huge fallen tree in their path.
When the object they thought was a fallen tree began to move in front of them, they realized their guess was wrong. It was a 42 foot long reptile with a girth of 6.5 feet. It had a body shape similar to that of a snake, but it had long jaws similar to those of a crocodile. It was greenish brown in color and had a body color that blended well with its surroundings.
The group heard about the creature from local residents. According to them, it feeds mainly on buffalo and attracts prey by emitting light from its eyes at night.
