Mussie (Mussie of Kako River) is an aquatic cryptid sighted from Mukoujima Park in Hyogo, Japan.
One day around 4:00 p.m., a person viewing the mouth of the Kako River from nearby Mukoujima Park spotted and photographed a huge blue-black creature on the surface of the water.
The filmmaker asked a radio personality to investigate, and the personality featured the footage on Radio Kansai's Web site. He analyzed the footage and concluded that the creature was a single individual because it was 6 to 10 meters long and had a series of back-like sections.
Whales sometimes appear in this vicinity, but a local fishermen's association member noted that the creature in the image swam differently from whales.
The details of Mussie's appearance are unknown, but a person with the handle Moccomelian posted an imaginary drawing of Mussie resembling a spinosaurus on his blog.
