Maasie is a crocodile cryptid reported from Ombret-Rawsa, Amay, Liège, Wallonia, Belgium.

On August 6, 1979, a 3-foot-long (about 90 cm) crocodile-like creature was seen in the river Meuse, which runs through this area. It was named Maasie, but was never seen again.
Meuse is close to where the holotype specimen of Mosasaurus was excavated, but from the standpoint of time and environment, the theory of a mosasaur survivor is not plausible. Realistically, it was probably a discarded pet crocodile. The reason why it was only seen once could be due to factors such as someone capturing it or it died because it could not adapt to its environment, the cold winters at that latitude.
