The Luferlang, also known as Lufferlang, (Spinacaerulea tresarticulosus) is a fearsome critter from North American folklore. The monster in question is a horse, but with a few key differences. It has a blue stripe all the way down the spine and the tail is bushy, swiveled and centered at the middle center of its back to keep off the flies. It is also said that its legs are triple-jointed, which enables this creature to run fast in any direction to catch those who gaze upon it with a single deadly bite from its dangerous teeth. The Luferlang has four tiny cat-like whiskers, no mane on the back of its neck, a short and bushy beard and eyebrows, long eyelashes and constantly bared teeth. The Luferlang is one of the more aggressive and dangerous fearsome creatures in temper and behavior, and certainly one of the more outrageous not only to find, but also in physical appearance. The Luferlang attacks and kills everything in sight, animal and human, with and/or without provocation, and shows absolutely no remorse for its actions. The Luferlang's biting season is strictly July 12, and it kills one victim per year on the said day. Wearing green clothing of all shades and/or tints puts the Luferlang in uncontrollable anger, but wearing an orange handkerchief will make the horse leave you alone. However, the only true way to protect yourself from the angry Luferlang is holding up a large mirror next to yourself. The Luferlang will gaze upon its reflection, then rush off in fear and disgust at its own horrific appearance, to find another victim to kill.
