The Lake Tarpon monster or simply "Tarpie" is a lake monster reported to live in Florida's lake Tarpon.

Description[]

"Tarpie” is a Lake monster that resides in Florida’s 2,529-acre Lake Tarpon. Local legend describes this 15-30 foot long monster as consuming more than his fair share of the local wildlife, though most reports of Tarpie are tongue-in-cheek.
