The Giant Devil Snapper （ジャイアントデビルスナッパー） is a cryptid reported from Inba Marsh (印旛沼, also spelled Lake Imba) in Chiba Prefecture, Japan.

Cryptid researcher Takeshi Nakazawa was told by a local resident that since the 2000s, large tortoises with shells over two meters in length have been spotted at Inba Marsh. He was told that this creature is called the Giant Devil Snapper and that it is a ferocious creature that attacks people and dogs.
Takeshi Nakazawa went to Inba Marsh to conduct a field survey and found it to be large enough to support large aquatic organisms.
In Inba Marsh, there is a case of a snapping turtle brought in from overseas that was found. Nakazawa pointed out that the Giant Devil Snapper could be an unusually evolved snapping turtle, a cross between a snapping turtle and another species of turtle, or a hoax that exaggerates the characteristics of the snapping turtle.
