Funabashi Footprints

The Funabashi Footprints is a cryptid trail reported from Funabashi, Chiba, Japan.

Description[]

On 20 September 2004, strange footprints were found in a field in Funabashi, and paranormal experts, including cryptid researchers, conducted a field survey. The tracks were left in a straight line, were 12-13 cm in diameter and had a stride length of 14-15 cm. Similar cryptid traces reported from Japan include Kashanbo, but the stride length of the Funabashi footprint is about a quarter that of Kashanbo.

Cryptid researcher Bintaro Yamaguchi mentioned that foxes are more likely to leave such tracks, but pointed out that foxes have not been sighted in the area for nearly 60 years and that these tracks are larger than fox tracks.

Yamaguchi also mentions a story of a female ghost with only one hand and one leg in the vicinity as possibly being related to these footprints.
