The Four Mile Globster was a globster that washed ashore on Four Mile Beach, Tasmania, in 1997.
Description
The Four Mile Globster was 15 ft (4.6 m) long, 6 ft (1.8 m) wide, and was also estimated to weigh 4 tons. The unidentified mass was described as having paddle-shaped flippers, strands of white hair, and six fleshy lobes along its sides.
Explanation
Although no samples were taken from this globster, analysis of other globsters suggest that it was the partial remains of a decomposing whale.
