A sheep-sized lake monster reported from Lake Yoan in Chad is sometimes thought to be a sirenian. It's described as being capable of clambering out onto the land, dragging its hind limbs behind it, so Bernard Heuvelmans thought it could be closer to something like Eosiren or Eotheroides than the modern sirenians. Explication:A descendant of a prorastomul or other terrestrial manatee, from the Eocene.https://www.amazon.com/Still-Search-Prehistoric-Survivors-Creatures/dp/1616463902
