The Dundas Blackfly, AKA flesh eating fly, is a species of insect native to the Dundas Island in Canada. They can grow to about 5-6 inches in length and are almost completely black. When they hunt their prey, they drink the blood as well as eat the flesh of their catch. Not only that, but they also hunt for hours, and won’t give up unless the victim leaves the island. It would appear that they are unable to leave said island, for some reason. They have enough venom to kill a cow.
