"'Feejee Mermaid' has become the generic term for the many fake mermaids that can be found around the world..."
This article contains information relating to a hoax. According to Cambridge dictionary a hoax is "a plan to deceive a large group of people; a trick." |
The Chay Na Men were a strange cryptid sighted in 2018.
Description[]
They are hairy and furry, covered in orange fur and hair, except on their feet, arms, and faces and playing Flute-like instruments. They were spotted on a rock in a cave in the crystaline waters of Krabi Beach in Thailand. They resemble Trolls from Norwegian and Swedish folklore.
In fact, the creatures from the other footages turned out to be an art performance, created by Norwegian artist Tori Wrånes for the First Thailand Biennale contest, making them an unintentional hoax. [1] The "first" footage is still a bit of a mystery, likely another artwork.
