Boqs are hairy humanoids told in legends of North American tribes, such as the Nuxalk, Chinook and Salish.
Description
Boqs are large and hairy with long arms. They are dangerous and may eat people or molest women. Males have extraordinarily large genitals that it rolls up and carries in its hand. It uses its genitals to lash out at enemies and trees, which it likes to break. It is said to have a whistling cry.
Sightings
According to people of the Nuxalk tribe, Boqs have been heard as recently as 1924. There are many stories of people hearing Boqs while travelling in canoes or being near a waters edge.
